Conquest Moves

Conquest turns are the mechanics of war. They replace alternating turns in Phase I. Each player has conquest turns in playing order, of which there are 5 rounds in total. You can find more information on this on p. 24.

FAQs and Clarifications

Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions, clarifications, and perhaps even one or two unconventional methods for playing the respective card whose special case is regulated here.

How are the conquests carried out?

Each player receives 5 conquest moves, which are carried out alternately in player order. So player 1 makes their conquest move, then player 2, and so on, until everyone has had a turn, and then the cycle starts again until 5 conquest moves have been made. Each player may pass their turn, but this turn still counts towards the 5 conquest turns. You can count the conquest turns using the crisis counter, for example.
