With Syncaner Conversion, you can convert any resources and thus carry out transactions, even if you did not harvest the exact right amount of resources in Phase I.
Selecting the doctrine instead of drawing one can be a great advantage when choosing the effects or bonuses.
Being able to utilise the effects of other dignitaries is a highly versatile and generally useful ability that can be employed in any situation.

How useful is Lycon in the role of Strategos?

With Calculating Strategy, you can change your doctrine even after you have drawn your role with the Strategos. This allows you to take advantage of effects but receive other bonuses.

Can I receive 2 bonuses in Phase I through doctrines with Lycon?

No, you can only receive the bonus from doctrines once per cycle.
