You vote on the laws with these cards. Either give a thumbs up if you want a law to pass or a thumbs down if you don’t. Place the cards face down so that no one knows whether the law is beneficial to you or not.

General Tips

Here are a few tips that may be helpful:

Without political influence, you cannot have a say in legislation and are therefore subject to the decisions of others.
You start with voting cards, but these are less powerful than cards you can purchase.
Discarding cards also frees up space in your hand for new cards.
You start with approval and rejection 1. However, the stack contains 5x approval/rejection 2 and 3x approval/rejection 3, which carry more weight in a vote.
