Instigating a Strike

The Instigate Strike card can reduce yield or increase a player’s upkeep.

How to play it: When you play this card, choose a field and set its yield to 0 for one cycle. Alternatively, you can choose a player and double their upkeep.

Tips and Tricks

Here are a few tips that may be helpful:

This card can deprive a player of the resources necessary for victory. It primarily prevents scheming players from gaining advantage.
Also blackmails players to obtain resources from them and, in return, not to play this card.
Doubling army maintenance can bring a player with extreme military dominance into line with the rest.
