Syncan Bombardment

The ‘nucelar bomb,’ as I like to call it. This card permanently destroys the yield of a field, can destroy half of all armies in it by paying an additional 2 Syncanite, and counts as Triage and War.

How to play it: When you play Syncane Bombardment, you may choose a field. Mark the field with the Permanent No Yield token to indicate that there will never be another harvest in that field. You may also pay 2 Syncanite to destroy half of the armies in the field.

Tips and Tricks

Here are a few tips that may be helpful:

Do not play this card too early, as it can be decisive for the game!
Due to its destructive power, this card is ideal for blackmail.
As an operation card, you can also play this card in phases other than I, e.g. to escalate a crisis such as war or triage at the appropriate moment.
If you have debts with the Offshore Office (field card), you can blow them away with this card – this cancels their effect and you do not have to pay.
This card synergises excellently with the Pariah Revenge card ‘Scorched Earth’ – so be careful when using it, unless you draw this card!

Can I also bomb capital cities with Syncane Bombardment?

No, capitals are immune to operation cards. This is symbolised by the protection symbol in the centre above the name of the respective capital.
