Syncane Tournements

Syncane Tournaments is a tyranny law. It is only needed when playing with dignitaries; otherwise, remove it from the deck. With Syncane Tournaments, dignitaries will no longer be auctioned off. Instead, each player draws a random dignitary at the dignitary auction. Then everyone rolls a D6. The rolled value is multiplied by the combat value of the dignitary, and the player with the highest value receives 5 Syncanite. All players may keep their dignitaries except for the player with the lowest value, who must discard their dignitary.

Tips and Tricks

Here are a few tips that may be helpful:

  • Syncane tournaments give almost all players a new dignitary. Use this to your advantage for a new strategy, but also to get rid of old dignitaries.
  • However, synchronised tournaments also mean that you lose your dignitary in each phase II. If you are pursuing a strategy that requires a specific dignitary, you should therefore reject the law.

FAQs and Clarifications

Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions, clarifications, and perhaps even one or two unconventional methods for playing the respective card, the special case of which has been regulated here.

What happens in the event of a tie?

In the event of a tie, the effects are not activated. This means that the highest values do not receive Syncanite in the event of a tie, but the lowest values do not have to discard a dignitary in the event of a tie either.
