You may reveal this card at any time to utilise its effect. With this effect, you may select a victory condition, except for the victory condition card ‘Freedom and Submission,’ which you may use to win again. Furthermore, no other player may win with this victory condition. You may also draw as many bribes and operations in any combination until you have reached your hand card limit.

Tips and Tricks

Here are a few tips that may be helpful:

Spider in the Shadows is most effective when you have no cards left in your hand, allowing you to draw a full 10 cards.
A suitable choice of victory conditions is Chancellor Election, because with Spider in the Shadows you can draw 10 bribes shortly before the Chancellor Election.
To prevent an opponent from winning, you can choose the respective crisis as an action at any time and thus block it for all other players.
