Censor

The Censor is a media mogul who influences public opinion. However, he cannot control it completely. Instead, he chooses one of three headline cards to play, thereby censoring the news and events associated with the other two cards.

How to play this card: On your turn, draw 3 headlines from your headline deck. Read them carefully and choose one. Play this card immediately. Count the crisis accordingly and activate the effect. When you activate a crisis, play it immediately after the effect and then continue in chronological order.

Tips and Tricks

Here are a few tips that may be helpful:

Special Dividend and Blizzard of the North appear multiple times in your deck. Use this to your advantage by either playing a strategy based on them or ignoring the cards when you first draw them, knowing that you can draw them again.
The Censor can cause a lot of chaos, as the Emergency Act is random and increases the risk of another crisis. The same applies to the Special Dividend, which triggers another Headline Card. Use this to threaten your rivals and, if necessary, let the game spiral out of control!
Headlines usually hurt. So the question for the censor is not so much what benefits him, but what harms him less than everyone else!
