How to play this card: The Censor chooses a doctrine. All players with this doctrine must either discard a victory condition or discard 4 influence cards.

Tips and Tricks

Here are a few tips that may be helpful:

  • This card is a wonderful threat for player trading by handshake!
  • Try to threaten as many players as possible with this card by choosing the doctrine that is most commonly played at the table!
  • You can use this card to achieve Tyrant Victory or victory with ‘A Final Act’. Be careful, though, because giving other players a Pariah special victory condition can also backfire.

What if I no longer have any victory conditions? Can I still choose this option?

Yes, you may also select the ‘Discard Victory Condition’ option with only a Pariah special victory condition. Since you do not hold any (and can never lose the Pariah card), you do not lose anything.
