How is this operation effect played: Whenever this card is drawn, the next field occupied by the state is protected and cannot be occupied or attacked by you. In addition, all your fields adjacent to fields with fortresses of 3 armies each are attacked in battle order. These armies are purely virtual, so they are not taken from the supply or the state’s armies. Regardless of how the battle ends, the armies disappear afterwards. You can still represent these armies with armies.
How this bribery effect is played: You lose 2 armies. Then you can place any number of resources and flip a coin. If it lands on heads, you get back double the resources you placed, and if it lands on tails, you lose all the resources you placed. In addition, the state receives +2 armies according to Rhiel for each fortress on the field. These are taken from the supply.
